The Cabrini spirit is one of courage and boldness. With wide arms it reaches around our globe, to places near and far, providing services of healing, teaching and caring for women, children, elders and immigrants in need.
When Francesca Cabrini began to follow her dream 126 years ago, she had no idea how many individuals would help make that dream a reality. Today her legacy of love continues through the Missionary Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, Cabrini Mission Foundation, Trustees, and many dedicated lay collaborators, benefactors and friends such as you.
The individuals we honor this year also give testimony to how one person can make a difference. Their concern for the needs of others provides us with beacons of hope and encouragement. Ambassador Corinne “Lindy” Boggs, Dan McGowan and Yvonne Hrapmann, thank you for witnessing the Cabrini spirit!
As Cabrini Mission Foundation continues to grow, we are making changes and implementing plans for the future that will strengthen our mission efforts. Our new President and CEO, Mr. William Bell, has taken on his new leadership role bringing fresh ideas, enthusiasm and years of experience that will well serve our mission outreach. It is an honor to work with him.
In a special way, I am grateful to Board Chair, Dan Rubino, each Board Member and all our staff for your tireless efforts. You give so generously of yourselves.
