The Villa Cabrini Academy Alumnae and Friends gathered together on Sunday, June 29, in Burbank, California, for an exhibit entitled, “Maria Francesca Cabrini: A Woman Before Her Time.”

Joining the alumnae and guests was newly appointed President & CEO of the Cabrini Mission Foundation (CMF), Gene McCormick. “It was an honor to represent CMF at the grand opening of this historic exhibit about Mother Cabrini,” Mr. McCormick said. “Mother Cabrini touched countless lives during her lifetime and the Missionary Sisters are certainly following in her footsteps.”

The exhibit depicts the fulfillment of St. Frances Cabrini’s vision for the foothill location she selected in Burbank in 1906, as well as the history of the Villa Cabrini/Woodbury University Campus from 1927 to the present day.
